Frequently Asked Questions

What paper stock should I choose for business documents?

For standard office documents and handouts, 24/60lb or 28/70lb offset matte is the most common choice - it is the familiar weight of everyday office paper, slightly heavier than basic copier paper. For presentations and client-facing documents, the 28lb or 32lb Hammermill Semi-Gloss gives noticeably brighter whites and sharper color. For marketing reproductions and premium handouts, choose 80lb or 100lb Gloss Text for a polished, professional finish.

Can I mix color and black and white pages in the same document?

Yes. We offer a "Full Color Front, Black and White Back" option as well as "Color Front / B&W Back" for double-sided printing - ideal for documents where the front needs full color impact and the back is primarily text. For documents with a mix of color and B&W pages throughout, contact us and we can advise on the best ordering approach for your specific document.

What does "collated" mean and do I need it?

Collated means each set of copies is sorted in page order (Page 1, 2, 3... for every set). If you are ordering 50 copies of a 10-page document and want each copy to be a complete, page-ordered set ready to hand out, choose collated. If you want all 50 copies of Page 1 together, then all 50 of Page 2, and so on, choose uncollated. For most business and event uses, collated is the right choice.

How do I set up my file for color printing?

Submit a print-ready PDF with all pages in sequential order at 300 DPI. Use CMYK color mode for full-color printing and Grayscale for black and white. If your document has bleed elements (background colors or images that go to the edge of the page), add 0.125" bleed on all sides. For standard documents with white margins, no bleed is needed.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order is 10 sets. We can print as few as 10 copies or as many as you need for large conferences, training programs, or bulk distribution campaigns. Contact us for pricing on very large quantities as volume discounts may apply.
