Window envelopes have a clear plastic or glassine window through which the recipient address on your enclosed document is visible - eliminating the need to print addresses on the envelope itself. They are the standard for invoices and statements. Non-window envelopes require the address to be printed or applied directly on the envelope, and are the better choice for personalized letters, marketing mail, and official correspondence.

Yes - we strongly recommend requesting a template before designing your envelope. Envelope flat layouts are not the same dimensions as the finished folded envelope and have specific areas (flap, seam, fold lines, USPS barcode zone) where no printing should appear.
