Premium Paper Poster is our standard stock, delivering excellent color vibrancy and fine detail - the right choice for most indoor display applications. Tear Resistant Poster is a synthetic stock that resists tearing, creasing, and moisture damage, making it the better choice for posters that will be rolled and transported repeatedly, handled by many people, or displayed somewhere with a higher risk of wear.
Posters can be printed up to 192" x 500" on either dimension (roughly 16 ft by 41.67 ft). For projects at the larger end of that range, contact our team before submitting your file so we can confirm resolution requirements and any paneling needed for extremely oversized graphics.
Resolution depends on how close viewers will be to the finished poster. A poster viewed up close, such as in a frame on a wall, should be built at 200-300 DPI. A large poster viewed from a distance, such as a trade show backdrop or building graphic, can be built at 100-150 DPI since fine detail is less noticeable from farther away. Contact our team if you are unsure what resolution fits your specific size and viewing distance.
Most large posters are shipped rolled in a protective tube to prevent creasing during transit. Smaller posters may ship flat depending on size. Your poster will arrive ready to unroll and display, though very large posters may benefit from a short flattening period before mounting.
